Genuinely one of the safest, sweetest channels you'll find for kids who love to draw.
Best for ages 3+
Rob draws alongside his daughter Hadley in pretty much every video I watched, and it's just really wholesome. Like in the Hello Kitty one, Hadley is four years old and he's cheering her on the whole time, saying 'good job' and high-fiving her. It never feels fake or performative.

The lessons themselves are solid. The ice cream cone video keeps it super simple for younger kids, while the folding surprise ones (the ice cream tower and the puppy present) add a cool interactive twist that my kids would absolutely love. He also reminds kids to pause the video if they need more time, which is a small thing but actually really thoughtful.
Honestly I had to dig hard to find anything to flag here. The seashell top on Ariel is worth a quick mention just because some parents are funny about that, but it's totally tame. This channel is the real deal.
Flagged Moments
mid-lesson, seashell segment
Rob and Hadley draw Ariel's seashell bikini top and refer to it as her 'swimsuit.' It's handled innocently and age-appropriately, but some parents may want to know it's there.
opening segment
The video was made in partnership with the YouTube Kids app, which is briefly mentioned. It's disclosed naturally but it is sponsored content.
early in lesson
Hadley is identified as being four years old on camera. Not harmful at all, but parents who are sensitive about kids' ages being shared publicly online might note it.
What Parents Should Know
Watch at least one video with your kid the first time so you can pause together and make it a shared activity instead of just screen time.
Grab markers and paper before hitting play because the lessons start pretty quickly and your kid will want to jump in right away.
Know that the folding surprise videos like the ice cream tower and puppy present require a bit of prep with the paper folds, so younger kids may need your help with that part.
Feel free to let kids pick their own colors instead of matching the video exactly since Rob actually encourages this and says having fun is the whole point.
If your child is under four, just sit with them since the lessons move at a pace that works better with a grown-up guiding along.
Recommended for ages 3+.
